Re: 1/1400 Galaxy Quest N.S.E.A. Protector Spaceship - Pegasus Hobby

Good Day, Fellow Questarians! I hope you had a safe a productive weekend! Looks good so far Steve. Keep the updates coming. Thanks, morphius! :D I'd definitely seal with a clearcoat like Future. Enamels and lacquers adhere better so shouldn't need to seal before overmasking but, still, it wouldn't h...

My house was built in 1960 and has survived several hurricanes, so I'm hopeful. I am 35 feet above sea level but ...

Re: Hurricane Harvey

slawton, I hope for the best for you and Florida; not to mention the islands to you South. We went though Harvey here in Houston and, by the Grace of God, came out with very little damage. Other, very close to us, were not so fortunate. Rockport, TX and Port Aransas, TX were demolished and are still...

Re: 1/1400 Galaxy Quest N.S.E.A. Protector Spaceship - Pegasus Hobby

Looking nice! Is the pearl white an acrylic? If so, I'd definitely seal with a clearcoat like Future. Enamels and lacquers adhere better so shouldn't need to seal before overmasking but, still, it wouldn't hurt as a precaution. You could also strop the sticky side of the tape against your pant leg ...

Re: 1/1400 Galaxy Quest N.S.E.A. Protector Spaceship - Pegasus Hobby

Hey everybody! Apologies for taking so long between posts. I was kinda hunkered down for an epic storm. You may have read sumpthin sumpthin about it. Harvey?! :D I and mine are fine and we did not sustain any damage - other than frayed nerves. Others within a couple of miles were flooded out and one...
