Tetryon Parts coming back?!

Ok, no, I don't have any secret knowledge. This is a tease. But it's also a gauge of interest. If you, like I, wish for Pat Suwalski to reopen Tetryon, please post here! Let's let him know his beautiful parts are missed!

Re: ST Discovery Federation Ships in 1/1400

4 episodes in, and I'm NOT hooked yet. But neither am I saying I won't watch more. As many have pointed out, I also feel like this would have been better served as a post-TNG era program -- maybe even many more years than the mere decades that some people have mentioned. Say 50+ years. Oh well, nobo...

Re: ST Discovery Federation Ships in 1/1400

Way too early to tell. If they capture Dennis' imagination, Starcrafts will do them and will hopefully do them in 1/1400. The Eaglemoss sculptures may already be close to 1/1400 scale, however, so I guess we'll have to see.

Re: Aztec Decals for Starcraft Connie Refit, Miranda, Excelsior, and Excelsior Refit?

They're really nice, and printed well. They look like they're going to fit nicely; the model that Dennis sent me actually had some test decals applied to the bare resin to see how the fit was looking! My only fear about these decals is in the not-very-subtle paneling on the secondary hull. It'...

Re: Aztec Decals for Starcraft Connie Refit, Miranda, Excelsior, and Excelsior Refit?

Well the storm put a few projects on hold, but I'm getting back to some model work and I remembered that I haven't posted anything about my Starcrafts order! Anyway. I'd ordered a new 1400 scale Akira, a new 1400 Enterprise A so I could try my homemade decals on that, and finally.......a 1400 Excels...

Re: K-24 R'ayl-class Escort / Scout

Also, happy to report that my roof survived the storm! :-D My house was built before the last run of hurricane codes, so I was worried because I don''t have the right number of roofing tie-down straps on my frame. The association is due to start roof replacements in 5 years, so I still have some tim...

Re: K-24 R'ayl-class Escort / Scout

I looked. No dice. It was a long shot; molds don't last a super long time in Florida heat. Probably got binned during the last move when I was consolidating. I found my Breen molds though. I only have one casting of that ship for myself; tempted to buy some resin and maybe cast up a couple more just...

Re: 1/350 Daedalus?

I got all the components gathered and ready, but had to box most of my more involved projects for a future date. We're consolidating and decluttering the house, doing a lot of house renovations so we can show it in early 2018 and move into a slightly larger place. In the meantime I've been working o...
