Re: Calling all Mighty 10-12ers!!!

I was only a member of the Mighty 10-12 Club for about the 5 minutes before it went away. But I've answered the call

Re: Now or Never Guys

Donated, but it's only a small amount, unfortunately. But if three people matched my $25, then we have what we need. C'mon everyone, that $25 is the cost of one Cadet series set!

Stop it! You're giving me too many ideas and then I'll want to build them all  I'm with you, I never considered the pod to be manned. I assumed it was used for both storage and for holding scientific equipment. Another assumption I had was that the dark front ventral area of the pod "opene...

Re: Nothing Really Going On Here

I agree with most of this here but the Defiant's death was actively painful for me. Maybe it's because I was young and had grown up with that more than any other ship other than the E-D, but lord, I felt like a part of me died, too. The way that it clearly hurt Sisko also drove it home. Kids these ...

Re: Sortuf a 1/2500 Diorama... :)

Thanks Bro! :D :D HUH? I never heard of that one. :?: The only "Borg cube" I remember, was the one the young guy (forgot his name) who created the forum for the old "Mighty 10-12". He asked everybody to send him all the left over spruce trees, that he used to build one face of a...

Re: Nothing Really Going On Here

I do have to say subsequent shows have steadily strayed away from treating the hero ship like a character. In TOS and TNG, the Enterprise was a character. So much so that to me the saddest scene in the movies is the self-destruct sequence in ST: III. It's not even the grey lady, it's the Refit, but ...

Re: What's in store for... aw, who's counting?

Thank you once again, everyone. You could probably add a Reliant roll bar with torp pod across the top of the nacelles if you want the firepower when you use the oberth sensor pod on the ventral side. I really think the Oberth pod is a great idea, BTW- MUCH MORE in keeping with the exploration role ...
