Re: Dominion v Borg

My problem with the Jem'Hadar is even more basic. They're addicted to ketracel white, otherwise they can't function. So what do they have sticking out of their collars, for all the universe to see, with little protection, just waiting for it to be caught by a jagged edge or be pulled out by a stray ...

Re: 50x50=2500, 12 (pic heavy)

Bad Azz models offered a 2500 NuGalactica a while back. It went for a pretty penny. A few years ago they even had a sale on it, knocked the price down a little. I couldn't find anyone who wanted to buy my kidney, so I had to pass

Maybe by "too small" he meant the fighters. They are tiny

And now for something I really like, the Hero-class Heavy Frigate. Based on the Tribal-class, but with a third nacelle. http://www.mvmodels.biz/kits/toskits/hero_01_800.jpg :dancingbanana: :angelbanana: :dreadsbanana: :blondebanana: :ninjabanana: :ropebanana: :tuxbanana: :guitarbanana: :linedanceba...

Re: Was V'ger supposed to be "proto"-Borg?

Interesting but that plot serves the purpose of establishing a game more than anything else

Re: 50x50=2500, 3 (pic heavy)

Try this- when painting 1:2256th scale Star Wars fighters, I first glue them onto black Beading Stems. Those are found in any crafts store and are 1-3" long straight pins painted black. The flat heads are a perfect mounting point for tiny subjects. https://m.imgur.com/gallery/2B5mwuu Ooh, grea...

Re: Alternate take on Classic Cadet Series Ships

The Romulan proto-Warbird. I say Warbird and not Bird of Prey as this is intended to be the precursor design to the D'deridex. So not exactly the same but you can see the early TOS lineage. https://i.imgur.com/ex6DYjJ.jpg https://i.imgur.com/xwMaPA9.jpg I still got a lot of work to do on her top an...

Re: Was V'ger supposed to be "proto"-Borg?

The Borg are a thing to fear because they wipe out individuality. The thing that makes us Human to start with. They are also not an antagonist. The Borg are an opponent. A thing that exists solely for itself that is uncaring about what it does. All the soul and reason of a hurricane or earthquake.....

Re: Was V'ger supposed to be "proto"-Borg?

No because of <<reasons>>. Seriously, Spock mentioned that V'ger encountered a planet of machines. The Borg are cyborgs, a difference that makes all the difference in the, well, world. Had V'ger encountered the Borg, there would be biological components added to it as well :borg2: I was going to tea...
