Thanks for the warning! I was thinking last night whether I should blank out the medium grays and just leave the panel lines, dark grays and blues. BTW, I decided to stop worrying about the flash drive* and just re-work the decals. I'm almost done with resizing the bottom view. I hope to finish that...

I'm going to borrow a soldering iron and the melty metal thingie to fuse it all. I've never done this before so... wish me luck. In the mean time, here are pictures of my Defiant with the base coat and metalized paint on the glowy parts like the nacelles and Bussards http://i76.photobucket.com/album...

You also have this sudden urge to buy a model you never really thought of getting for the simple desire to do something with it or "improve" it. I almost bought the re-popped K7 station because I saw others who did great things with it.
