(This certainly exemplified reusable kit bashing...ha ha ha.)
And yes, I loved the old FASA Trek combat board game, which this ship looked like it could've spawned many FASA designs. And I would not be surprised if that's exactly how some FASA designs came to be.) :)

I have one of these! :D I got it for Christmas in '79, she's been well loved. Nothing works on her anymore, but we've been on many a voyage together. I wonder which box she's packed away in?

I tried to find one of these when they first came out but they were next to impossible to find in stores.

Wasn't there a TOS-E toy which could turn into a Jefferies Destroyer as well?

A good concept with slots on the saucer and secondary hull for various configurations, it would be welcomed in sacred scale on the shapeways store (do you read that Shiftdel) :mrgreen:
