Florescent Paint

Somewhere among my junk there is some glow in the dark paint. Not the blacklight stuff but the luminescent in the dark stuff.

I need to drag that out, see if it is still good and employ same in some fashion.

that stuff is great, you can get a quick charge off of a black light

In my quest for florescent paint I am now victorious and feel a bit stupid.

Previously when I started this thread I had issues with the blue paint fluorescing. The fact that it did not work was operator error on my part. See, I have some Philips Hue colored lights in my office and at night I have them set to a combination of blue and red. This did result in some of the paint glowing but not the blue since the Hue lights are not true UV light. I mistakenly thought I had a bad batch of blue paint. Then the other day I saw a UV pet urine LED flashlight. It was only $5 so I said what the hell. I'll take it!

Sure enough when I pointed it in the direction of my paint the blue lit up very nicely.

So, to sum it all up Testors fluorescent paint does work.
Now I'm off to the bathroom to see how dirty the toilet bowl is.

That is about how I feel about him. Please do not dribble your paint all over the model without talent or reason.

I often use florescent red on bussard collectors. I paint the back side florescent red and the front side clear red. Now I really want to see what they look like under a black light.
