Old builds
Here are three off the surviving models from when I was growing up. My dad and I did these as a joint venture but it was mostly him. Seeing as this was nearly 30 years ago they have lasted well.

Yeah. Those have held up well.

Re: Old builds
What I find frightening is to think that many of the kits we now call The Cadet series are that old......
Nice builds by the way

I have one of those for use. There are three of the original in the vinyl cover. Myself, my late wife, my current wife. We all got them the minute they hit the book shelves in 1975.mophius wrote:My dad found the manual earlier this week.

I still have my original version that I've just about worn out reading and re-reading it.mophius wrote:My dad found the manual earlier this week.

Anyone remember this manual?
There are Times, Sir, when men of good Conscience cannot blindly follow orders. You acknowledge their sentience, but ignore their personal liberties and freedoms. Order a man to hand over his child to the state? Not while I"m captain.

I don't remember that one but I do also remember having a copy of The Next Generation Technical Manual with the orange cover

Re: Old builds
After 30 years they seem to be still in perfect shape! And they all were very well built and painted too! Other than that I just saw some dust from time that gives to them a bit more sense of reality!
Thanks,
Yan.
