I think it needs more tan.

Tesral, that is REALLY subtle!

I'm more of a "Federation white" kinda guy. So, I must disagree with my esteemed colleagues and say that it needs less tan.

I'm with Griff. A little less tan

Actually, if you can't tell what Testal has painted, maybe it's too subtle or maybe the color settings in your monitor need to be adjusted :P

I always thought this ship was supposed to be more tan but apparently I was mistaken. It appears to be an off white.

Picard's Ready Room model of the Stargazer is certainly more tan than grey. It doesn't mean the "real" Stargazer was the same though

I bought more white. I have made a 1:1 mix of flat white ot Deck tan. We will see hime that works.

Trips to the LHSs. One foe more eyedropper bottles, the other for the white. And meet my paint shaker that dates from the Regan Administration Gimpzilla. It only works if held upside down.

And some results with the one to one mix. The blue has to go, too toy like. Oh and the #4 short flat brush I'm doing the majority of the work with. Easy control and wide or narrow as required.

If your looking for a nice blue that's a good match to the blue color we've seen on the refit try Model Master Russian Topside Blue it has a very nice blue/grey look to it and looks to be just a shade lighter then the old Flanker Medium Blue. I also like the look of the hull color as you have it in the picture.
