Cyrano Jones' Spacematic Transport

Postby Griffworks » Fri Sep 29, 2017 11:30 pm

This is a printed model from Shapeways. It's 1/1000 scale and printed in FUD (Frosted Ultra Detail), a sort of acrylic. It's .6" / 1.6cm long, by .4" / .9cm wide.

This is based off the tiny miniature that Greg Jein built and placed in the Shuttlebay of the Space Station K-7 model he built for the DS9 episode "Trials and Tribble-ations".

Hmm, too small for 2500 for me to tackle (there are others who are more fearless than me). It's neat if you want to be a completist and have it for your K-7 station, though it kind of reminds me of a mechanical Q-bert

This post makes it 5150 for me. That means I am officially crazy

It's larger then a shuttle and pretty blocky. Get those hooded visors and git 'er done!

That'd be kewel to see. I've thought about getting one and adding it to the shuttlebay of a future 1/350 build.

It would need to be a sizable shuttle bay to fit it
