1/1400 Jenghiz Class Destroyer

Post by Tigertank747 »

Anyone know if there is a Jenghiz Destroyer in resin or on Shapeways? I would love to have one of these for the ship, and for kitbashing other designs with starcrafts ships.Image

No Shapeways model that I know of, but it is not a hard conversion of the Starcrafts kit:

The Nacelle would be difficult to split down the middle to put 2 inboard or outboard halves together and they would have to fit pretty good to work. the 1/1000 nacelles on fed models are a bit too big for that scale.

You can convert / kitbash the Starcrafts kit, yes, but you're right that the inboard and outboard grills will look different than (we presume) the "actual" ship. At this scale you will be hard pressed to notice. Just use a little similarly thick styrene to make the fin for the other side, and match the decals for the grills so they both look the same, and you'll be in good shape.
