Minor update. I glued the pylons to the nacelles and used Perfect Plastic Putty to clean up the seams on those joints plus the saucer/pontoon joints as well as smooth out the tiny bubbles that the primer revealed here and there:

I hope to smooth out these parts over the coming weekend so that I can begin putting it all together
