Yeah- I saw ST 3-6 in the theatres on the big screen and never noticed that aztec- or at least not anything like the Round 2 look.
Same for the red stripes that ring the bridge- they'd be invisible at 2500th scale- even on the 1/537th model they were a pencil-line's thickness at most!

Best to scan the decals and reprint them at maybe 20% opacity- and skip the red stripes around the bridge alltogether. I'd tone down the yellow on the RCS thrusters too- I'm learning from train and ship modelers that the smaller the scale, the more nuted the colors should be to look "real".
'The ship builders in particular take that stuff seriously- even adding decanted dullcoat to their paint to really tone it down at tiny stuff like 1/700th lifeboat markings.

It's called scale effect and it does matter. Too bright colors look toy like.

Any news (what were poll results, what will be announced, when will be announced, when expected release)?

I'm guessing we won't hear anything until WonderFest the first part of June. Round2 has been criticized for getting folks hyped up only to cancel a project later, so I think they want to solidify plans before making announcements. Not getting this info from anywhere, just thinking that it's probably how they're operating now.

I guess we'll have to wait until Wonderfest in case they are going to do something about the poll. The announcements so far are the release of:

- Clear E-D (1400 scale)

- Excelsior (NX or NCC, 1000 scale)

- F-104 Starfighter (48 scale) with a 2500 scale Enterprise for a forced perspective dio

I would love to see an ALl Good Things Enterprise-D Dreadnaught in 2500 scale.

A Pasteur would be nice, too.

A voyager 2500 set... Voyager, Equinox, and maybe a Borg probe. And an Akira in 2500. Maybe a Klingon set.
