If you compare the two, they aren't exactly identical, but that's because the 3D print was made from combining the best aspects of the technical drawing by Brian Pimenta and his build-up (pictured top).

Del, you are doing a wonderful job!

More less, they're done. Looks like one nacelle might need a replacement decal on top, the sensor pod that I chose to use (2 come with the kit) needs to be mounted, and everything needs a dullcoat. Will work on the website tomorrow, but not sure if they'll be available yet. Lots of final photos to take, code to write (yes I do it the old-fashioned way), and PayPal stuff to do.

DOH!!! :( I used the wrong registration on the bottom of the Kaydee - NCC instead of NCX. :x Gotta fix that too. You get both ways of doing the registrations plus other names as well, so lots of options. I just need to pay better attention in the future.

Interesting seeing them side by side. I'm imagining a more "muscular" alternate universe where men are men, women are women and little fuzzy animals from Alpha Centari are little fuzzy animals from Alpha Centari. If Tom Cobet Space Cadet have been made in the 60s and followed his career after he graduation.

Website photos coming along. Here's the Connie MkIII. Later I'll post the Atlacatl, then the A. Kaydee, and then they'll be available to purchase. Hopefully all will be done this evening.

The decals look great!
All but one.......

That dorsal decal on the saucer just looks too much like a CD label to me.
I don't know... those lines....
Maybe it's me...
May be, because I like things on a Fed ship to be symmetric, not asymmetric.

Anyhow, the rest of the ships looks, look good. :)
Laterz...
