The vagaries in the life of a Burd. Slight delay due to needing paint, and weather not really being nice. There is a street in there someplace.

What's that white stuff all over the place? Did a styrofoam factory explode somewhere?

Yes, yes it did and we are inches deep in the stuff. Not so much that I couldn't get out, but I wasn't able to get out in time to get to Nakin Hardware. The one local source for Tamyia paint.

OK, I had to look up this "snow" of which you speak. I see the disconnect. Winters in general, and snow in particular, have been extinct in California for a while now.

They got Hoth and How do you live like this backwards, which tells me they are from Thanks Obama or On Fire.

We got a bit of snow. Kids these days are so unused to these tiny amounts of snow.

They could also be from "It's 39 degrees!..."

I dunno. I think the snake, spider and croc are like sharks. Totally misunderstood

I have a snake. Pericles B Python.

My wife would consider the spider a valid reason for personal flamethrowers.

And the air does not hurt my face. I am inured to the weather.

Thanks to Global warming, I have no winter (yet) this year. Our town cancelled it's winterfest activities due to lack of snow. The temp has been bouncing back and forth between single digits on both sided of the 0C.

I live on an island in the cold north Atlantic. This is just not right.

Also we don't have snakes or giant spiders, we just have Moose, caribou, and coyotes.
