Length of odyessy slipways steamrunner class model?

Post by ian »

Just curious as to the model length after it has been built. Thanks.

Haven't built mine but dry fitting the parts puts it at roughly 12 cm/shy of 5"

Slipways has a Steamrunner?
I have a pair of the old Delta Quadrant kit (which kicked ass!), but have never seen this OS kit...

Anyone got a pic?

Did you mean Jupiter Station kit? I've got that one in my stash, which I thought was the same thing because Chris bought out Jupiter Station, but it's not exactly the same. Maybe he remastered the old kit before releasing this one or I have an early JS kit that was remastered before Chris got it. Looking at my JS kit in front of me, the details are not as good as the OS kit that's available now.

What Del said. DQ didn't have a Steamrunner, but Jupiter Station did a long time ago. I didn't realize OS bought an existing master, but it's consistent with what I know. His Norway and a couple of his Klingon kits were old JS offerings.

Yes, I meant Jupiter Station. It's been a while.

Ian, I have one of the Jupiter Station kits I finished several years ago. It is the same kit as the OS one. It measures 4.7 inches (12.1 cm) as finished.

Here are some photos of the one I finished about 6 years ago. The decals are from PNT and were made for the JS kit.
