Well, as per Xen's recent newsletter...it seems there will be no 2015 contest unless someone else runs it. \

I hope that does happen. I'm in the mood for a good contest.

I suggest we can run our own contest. We don't need prizes, just bragging rights.

Set up a poll with a few topics for the contest, the most votes win. Then set a deadline. Once the deadline is up we poll the results and voters pick the winner(s).

We should start a new thread with the poll, ask for a volunteer to be the contest arbitrator for the final voting if there's a draw. Maybe Scotchyn?

I don't mind being the contest "manager" that posts all the final entries for public vote. But I still want to compete as well. Which shouldn't be a conflict of interest since the winner is determined by public vote, not private.

Surely not. I just figured you were being vague and would expound upon your theme idea when the contest became more of a reality and less of a conversation.
