Ah, ok. Mea culpa.

Well I got unstuck on the detail. I got out some blue for the Chandly and started slapping on the Constellation as well. No pictures until I have something to show for it.

I also ordered some Timaya Xf-2 and Xf-55 to make the all too necessary touch up paint. My skills in that direction are no better. Well a little better, I can see what I'm doing.

If there's fresh paint, then you have something to show! :D

Griff wanted updates even if limited. Waiting on the touch up paint to show.

I'm going to try something for the gray. Provided the mix pans out as advertised I'll do a darker ratio, say 5:1 and try that as the gray detail color.

Short break for the Eclipse. Sue and I drove to Nashville to stay with friends.

Meanwhile the paint arrived. XF-2 flat white and XF-55 deck tan. When combined in a 10/1 ratio are suppose to make the insignia white that is only available in a spray can. Now to get the bottle and the syringe and go for it.

Oh ad this goes for the Chandly class build as well.

And yes that is the "Lancaster" model from Ugh. That will be a different build.

Playing with paint mixes here. It is subtle, if you can't tell what I painted it's too subtle. Currently it is a 10:6 mix of the white to the tan. The eye dropper bottle only holds 17 ml. So if I want a stronger mix I need to start over.

Comments are solicited. Too light, just right?
