Re: 1/1400 AMT Enterprise-C (So it begins)
Greetings Fellow Modelers! During on the many light tests I am doing, I noticed the Bridge, or B/C deck, wasn't really showing like I would have liked. So I added yet another LED to the B/C deck; as shown. Bridge Light https://farm1.staticflickr.com/794/39838020890_41630c405b_c.jpg 20180413_062648 I...

Looking good, Ding!
It's amazing how, even when trying to do an OOB, you still have to modify the model to get it to look good.
Keep at it, though! You're doing great!

Fantastic work. How do you decide how many windows to drill out - just preference or are you matching the studio model? I bought one of these kits myself on eBay last week but was gutted to find it was missing part no. 16 - the secondary hull ventral phaser strip, so I doubt I'll be making it any t...

Re: Spindrift from Land of the Giants by Polar Lights
Decided to unmask the bow window ports in case any of the tape had come unsealed along the edges. Was planning a quick re-masking with fresh tape before priming when I noticed one of my worst fears.... Both windows had a tiny bit of "crap" on the inside surface??? It was quite clearly vis...

Re: 1/1400 AMT Enterprise-C (So it begins)
Greetings, Fellow Modelers! I spent a good chunk of time at the bench this weekend for what seems like a minor progress report. But, such is the nature of building lighted models! ;D I decided, especially since I got the TenaControls board, that I would place a ventral and aft strobe in the secondar...

Thanks! I'm honored!

I wish I could say I thought of it! But, I was a Dental Lab tech for 15 years and this technique is also used to make dentures.
Thanks again!
