Re: Mo's Shipyard

This is what I had on the bench tonight DSC_0009_20180426233055323.jpg Unfortunately only the Atlacatl and the two Defiant variants were touched. Atlacatl you can see in its own thread. Defiant variants only had the bussard collectors painted. Nothing exciting. However... I did glue this together......

Re: Alternate Paradigms Atlacatl Strike Cruiser

Some small detailing tonight. Impulse engine, deflector dish and sensor ports on the front of the saucer. I will presume they are sensor ports anyway. I can find no reference to these in anything I can find. I can see other features marked out on the Phase 3 but these ports are not labelled. They ma...

Re: Sulfer Crested Romulan

The pattern looks like it will be great when finished. Ihad the same problem you have with your gold but mine was copper. I ended up mixing the two which did the trick.

Re: U.S.S. Cartier

I do like this little ship, it was one of my favourites to build/paint. Ok so there was only the deflector to put on but it was such a joy to do.
Your detailing is great and really brings out the detail of the kit.

Re: Mo's Shipyard

Well gentlemen, and ladies (just in case), I was hoping to get back to the table tonight but time seems to have slipped through my fingers. I was busy scanning my decals, as I normally do, for back up purposes. I managed to get about half my home stock done. I just need to go through the bagged kits...

Re: Gizmo Excelsior

Looks great! My Gizmo Excelsior was one of nicest to build and still looks good several years later, even more so than the ‘official’ Enterprise-Bs there’s been. Pretty sure I didn’t paint the deflector surround, but it really sets it off on yours! I had to do something with it. The decal for the d...

Re: Gizmo Excelsior

I did finish this in time for the end of the competition but it was not completed. Some of the decals just didn't want to go on, some tore and others lifted off. Pylons came off, nacelles don't have registry numbers and secondary hull doesn't have the blue band around it. DSC_0179.JPG DSC_0178.JPG D...

Yes at 2 foot it is huge. It was suggested that I use it as a dining table for me, my wife and my daughter.
