I thought I'd post some actual pictures. Interesting to note, the increase in panels and what appears to be a missing panel on the Starboard rear side of the top of the saucer.
Kinda looks like field repairs. cool detail.

Re: Improving the look of AST

One thing I like about this forum is that there is very little pure white. The older I get, the more sites with lots of white hurt my eyes. Even though the post backgrounds are still light colors, they're still dark enough to be easy on my eyes. I'm a big fan of white text on dark backgrounds, but t...

Re: Please help make AST better by reporting site problems

What's wrong with how SM looks...? Plus, this is how AST looked prior to the last big update of a few days ago. That's both on my iPhone and PC. My complaint - I used to have to log in almost every time I came to AST on my iPhone. Now that's fine, but I have to log in EVERY TIME that I come here on...

Re: Post Wonderfest

I wonder if that Chariot can be driven. It looks like the chassis is from an old Kyosho Blizzard DX. It's certainly the older style Blizzard tracks. The chariot was built on the chassis of a 1965 Thiokol Snow Cat. It still exists and has been restored. Apparently it found its way to a ski resort ad...

The length they list for the 1:2500 Discoprise is roughly the same as the current Cadet Series Ent B.

Re: Discovery Enterprise **SPOILER** image heavy

found this on a discovery page Nice. I love how they use the cheapest more unflattering picture of TOS Enterprise they can find. Tonnes of updated versions to bring it in line, modeled using more contemporary means. You mean what appears to be 2D artwork, while everything else is photo-realistic CG...

Re: uss glenn and uss gagarin

It's odd, how so many of the Disco designs would fit right in, post Dominion War. The Gagarin and the Shenzhou, especially.
