Re: 1:350 K'Tinga kit from Round 2

24 inches long isn't the deal breaker for me, my republic Star Destroyer, Into Darkness Enterprise, Voyager and others are close to that. But the width is definitely a deal breaker. 18 inches wide means it's not fitting on any of my book shelves. Hang it from the ceiling. Make sure it has full ligh...

That thing kinda reminds me of some of the grav tanks, from Renegade Legion.

Re: Gizmo Excelsior

That rear launcher..... It is one of the points on the Excelsior that bug me. The forward launchers are neatly incorporated into the hull. The rear ones looks tacked on at the last minute. Why not incorporate them smoothly in the fantail? I love how this is coming together. Because, the ship was de...

Re: AMT 1:1400 Enterprise E

Looking very good! And yeah I always liked that the E was smaller and sleeker than the D. Like Starfleet realized they had shoved a bunch of whale tanks and crap they didn’t really need into the Galaxy class just because they could, and decided to eliminate waste on the next great explorer Next tim...

Re: A thru deck carrier

It seems like a good candidate. It already looks like a post-Nemesis version of the Centaur class. Replace the deflector with bay doors, turn the questionably placed bridge into a deflector, and put a proper bridge module on top.

Re: TOS Erebus Class

Now, I want to try to build something with a similar ...

This is why I put down a coat of yellow, under gold. I mostly use Model Master acrylics, and their metallics are infuriatingly transparent.

Re: Discovery Enterprise **SPOILER** image heavy

Gotta say, I'm torn. For the most part, I like it. But the angled nacelle pylons pre-TOS make zero sense. I liked the split pylons better, on the John Eaves design they stole them off of. But, I do like the glowing warp grills on her.

And, they put a frikken windshield on the Enterprise!
