Yeah, keep the pics coming. I have a Warbird on the build schedule for this coming year, so I'm learning a lot!

Re: D'deridex greebles or no greebles?

is anyone making this in 1/2500 the regular romulan warbird i mean . i figure if someone made the warbird in 1/2500 then a conversion of the amt/round 2 kit into one of this "super " warbirds could also be 1/2500 .since this ship looks bigger than the warbird by almost 1/2 of warbird width across t...

Re: romulan "super" warbird

Probert's original idea for the Warbird was indeed for it to be vertical. TPTB didn't think it fit the ST universe so they asked him to rotate it 90 degrees. My dream to to build both this version and the version Zook posted earlier. Years ago I picked up two Warbird bodies really cheap. They are dy...

I had problems embedding photos from Flickr too, so it's not you vikingborg. Or we're both dense. Your pick :)    I worked it out you have to do like this(). That's how I did it.   So at this point I'm the only on...

Re: D'deridex greebles or no greebles?

Not necessarily. I think you'll get more views if you do post in the 2500 section. But if you do, I would post a disclaimer why the AMT model buildup is in that forum versus the "Other Scales" since several mods know that the AMT kit is not a true 2500.

Re: D'deridex greebles or no greebles?

Sounds like a good plan, Indy. I built this kit (badly) 20 years ago. I got another one recently to do it justice. Currently debating whether I should leave the old one as is and just work on the new one (with greebles) or repair one whilst working on the new one. Decisions decisions. Sacrifice som...
