Out of curiousity, what is the name for the 4 nacelled Excelsior class?

Here's a couple more pictures. This is a dormant project - started about 8 years ago when I wanted to refight Wolf 359 and other battles, but this is as far as I got before the wheel-O-interest rotated to something else. These are 1/10000. Note the objects for scale effect. That is a 1/2500 Galaxy BTW, and the other odd thing is a pin cushion.

Sorry for the double post/threadccromancy, but I just started collecting/playing Firestrorm Armada. Those ships are 1/10000 and boy do I want to make some Trek ships like these for scale comparison. Like Battlefleet Gothic, apparently the biggest Trek ship is only as big as the frigates in this game. Crazy.

@defiantclient,
uh-oh, thats a bug that's hard to shake, like battlefleet gothic hehehe :lol:
(ave, Battlefleet Gothic, you went too soon into the warp...).
Its a great game, Firestorm Armada, and citadel used to have various detailed planets etc, pretty hard to track down (though, there's some nice "warp effects" markers which could double as small planets).
Its incidentally a great scale for the BadGuys, because Borg stuff is reasonably sized in 1/10000 - the unimatrix, proper borg cubes, etc.

These papercraft ships would be great also for GOBS

GOBS can be as accurate as you'd like to make it to the onscreen, and can handle a LOTS of ships being moved around etc.
One of these days, someone will make a computergame inspired by GOBS :D

I only have the moon template from BFG. However, I DO have quite a few planets from ST: Attack Wing and they're comparable to the cutout one in the back of the BFG rulebook. Totally using them for FSA.

Heh, I should make some rules for the Trek ships and fool around with a huge fleet of starfleet ships attacking a FSA force. I can only imagine they would need quite a few ships to take on those lumbering hulks. XD

I never would call it cheating. Actually it looks like a lot of inventive thinking. Also, the wooden bases for the collage are awesomely well carved!

:o

Impressive!

:)
Thanks,

Yan.
