Starships in 3:300 scale? Does it exist?

For all other scales including 1/72, 1/537, 1/650 and Studio.

Starships in 3:300 scale? Does it exist?

Post by NCC1966 » Mon Jun 27, 2016 3:10 pm

A friend of mine is about to build the kit of DS-9 (1:3300) and would like to dock a starship to it. He mentioned to use a 1:2500 Enterprise-E but I said to NOT do that as it will look awfully disproportional. After a little Google research (and also a quick browsing in Federation Models) I didn't get any luck on find 1:3300 starships. I was wondering if there is some or if 1:3300 is just one of those crazy scales that is going to be doomed as be the solely one to exist forever...

:?
Thanks,

Yan.

Wanna know something weird about that DS9 kit? Apparently the docking ring and pylons are 1/3300 and the habitat ring and prominade/reactor/ops area is 1/2500.

I think some shapeways stores make ships in 1/3300 though. Also, wasn't that model of the station from Starship Mine from Warp Models 1/3300? I know it came with a scale Enterprise-D so there is at least one ship in that scale made.
