For my calculations of the size of the ST Discovery spaceships, I used the size of Commander Michael Burnham. I used the bridge to calculate how tall the decks are.

Hi to all, @FLEETYARD Hi, I love seeing schematics and size comparisons, They give a real sense of solidity and scale and complexity to otherwise ephemeral images onscreen.

Do you ever use real-world sizes - such as an actors published height on their homepage - to determine the dimensions of onscreen sets? I find it laudable that you provide such detailed comparisons. When I first got hold of the Sternbach E-D blueprints I was mesmerised for a week, The Jeffries plans... well, nuff said.

I'm not sure if you have said in this thread (or I have just missed it), but what criteria do you employ to reconcile discrepencies between what's seen onscreen, the published (canon?) information, and other written works, such as the Writer's Technical Manual and interviews with the creators of the shows?

Many thanks for all your work.
