AST turns 3!

Post by Xen » Fri Oct 09, 2015 3:38 am

I'm about a month late (depending on whether you consider the forum going live -Sept 10- or the official launch -Sept 30-), but it seems like yesterday I was all giddy reaching these "milestones" 1000 posts! or 100 members!!

Yay! Forgive me a moment on indulgence, as I reflect on AST;
AST's 3, and it gets more awesome every year.
Thanks everyone for making AST such a great place to learn and share about model making.

Thanks Xen :D

I'd go as far to say that AST is what the Starship Modeler forums should have evolved into being. The issuses with posting pictures directly and catering to a SMALL 56k crowd still just turned me off of continuing to post my work there, though I'm glad they still are kind enough to have some of my much older models posted on their main site. I'd share which ones they are in the gallery, but it would kind of mess up whatever anonymity I have here.

Thank you very much for AST, Xen and everyone else involved. Let's see it go for another three years (AND MUCH MUCH MORE)!

Three cupcakes for everyone!
There are Times, Sir, when men of good Conscience cannot blindly follow orders. You acknowledge their sentience, but ignore their personal liberties and freedoms. Order a man to hand over his child to the state? Not while I"m captain.
