NU Trek Uniforms

Post by Lonewolf »

Our church had a themed scavenger hunt last fall, and the theme had to be a 1960's television show. We immediately chose Star Trek, and got uniforms for each of us. A family friend was our designated Red Shirt, and he still has his uniform.

This is a Youth Large size Science Division uniform that my youngest daughter was wearing. It comes with pants, unlike any of the other uniforms. The insignia and rank stripes are silkscreened.

Finally, my wife and I wore the Kirk Deluxe Command Division uniforms, with silver rank braid on the sleeves.

I purchased the uniforms from suppliers on eBay, and paid about $25 each.

I have never seen the black Cadet uniforms. That might be something that you'd have to get custom-made.

I have a couple of photos of us wearing them, but they're group shots taken during the scavenger event.

I remember a red shirt, shirt with a bullseye printed on it's back.

Which you didn't see until they turned around.

I knew my status soon would rise.
Then I learned my shirt was red.
