White Decal Funding Drive **UPDATES**

Still nothing new to report on the funding drive, still sitting at 1/4 of the goal - did have a talk with wife about it (did this without consulting her, YES I KNOW ) and she seemed OK with it (at least I didn't get an ass reaming from her)

I'm willing to forgo that pesky restriction for smaller donations of less than $50, so you could use the full amount toward an order (just need to pay shipping, and that's just $7 in the US for ones I can't cut to fit into standard envelopes)

An update for those followers- got another $35 towards the new printer to from sales of decals and a small donation.

The printer package I found is on sale for $70 off (making the bundle $555) which pulling together what has been donated to the gofundme and what I have in PayPal- and cash I have on hand I could have done it but if it wasn’t for the $300 in shipping, but shipping cost is now an issue.

Well, shipping a full size printer plus extra cartridges from Germany is expensive - but over $300 is a little pricey, just the white cartridge by itself is $225 plus another $70 for shipping

I’m toying with the idea of just getting the white from them and getting the printer from amazon (where I get free shipping)

with that in mind - I'm just about $70 away from being able to get the white cartridge, I should have enough (or can make enough with what I have in PayPal) to get the printer from amazon

***HUGE UPDATE***

Just ordered the white toner cartridge from Ghost - unsure to when it will arrive, but I will keep everyone posted

While the GoFundMe wasn't a complete success, I will say it at least got me halfway and was able to get the major thing purchased - I'll order the actual printer when I receive the white cartridge (or sooner depending on a few things)

I will say that I don't plan on using GoFundMe for anything else in the near future - their locking of the drive because I wanted the money to accumulate before cashing out was annoying (they threatened to freeze the funding drive if I didn't put in the cash-out information). I'll stick with a PayPal funding drive next time, more user friendly IMO, and I can lett he money just sit in there for as long as I want.

But at least toner is ordered, and should be on the way shortly - lets just hope it's not on a slow boat

Well toner is being a PITA, it’s stuck in customs because of some stupid EPA regulation, have been emailing company and calling FedEx to try and get it resolved - all over a stupid form that is a waste of time to fill out

That and they say value is misrepresented on the form- which most likely because site uses “,” instead of “.” on it
