I encourage you to go if you can swing it. It's a lot of fun and I would have gone to more if life didn't get in the way. I guess it won't be until 2016 before I get my next fix...

Del has asked me to go, and I'm still considering it. The Flight will cost me about 800 bucks or so, I'm still looking at digging into my savings to do this. Considering the first and only one I've been to was back in 2007, I think I'm overdo to come back...

It would be so much cheeper if I didn't live on this island in the North Atlantic! D'oh!

I didn't get to see much of the show in 2007. My wife and kids came with me, but my wife ended up in the ER at Audubon Hospital in Louisville because of a gall stone jammed in her bile duct. We arrived on Friday, and she spent Saturday night/Sunday morning in the ER.

If you need any more motivation to go, consider this:

I will not be going.
There are Times, Sir, when men of good Conscience cannot blindly follow orders. You acknowledge their sentience, but ignore their personal liberties and freedoms. Order a man to hand over his child to the state? Not while I"m captain.

That's really not much of an incentive, Moon. Why in the world would I say, "Oh he's not going?? SCORE!!!"

I ditto that. I'm hoping to meet all of you who attend. If you don't see me wandering the hallways or hanging out in the RI suite, then at least stop by my vendor table to say hi. Everyone will receive a complimentary handshake. :D

All you crazy guys across the pond, have a great time! I'm so envious I'm having a Trek TV day - my young step son has found a love for Voyager that has me thrilled! Meanwhile I just ate far too much Domino's and am moving on to the steak... eject the core!
