Looking at this model some more, I have the same Galaxy class decals in 1/2500. I wasn't originally going to use the phaser strips, but seeing as how good they look on the 1/1400 kit, I need to just do it. They always came out terrible when I painted them, even with masking.

Yeah, I remember the phaser strips looking not quite right when I did them first time.
I was so happy when the decals had the phasers on them!

I would definitely recommend using them, they make such a difference
