Paint jar or tin?

Postby NCC1966 » Sun Jul 17, 2016 8:11 pm

I was thinking if someone know that I can find (preferably in eBay) some kind of small tin can like Revell/Humbrol or glass jars with screw cap like Model Masters. The 14ml would ones would be the ideal.

I looked for but I just found perfume stuff...
Thanks,

Yan.

Thanks a lot, Moongrim! It will help a lot!

:)

I have tried to use "generic bottles" for save paints but it seem not to work very well...

:(
Thanks,

Yan.

I don't know if you have a Michaels near you but they sell paint mixing bottles in two sizes.
They have plastic caps so won't seal quite as tightly as metal ones but I usually only use them for custom paint batches for one build or another so I'm not really using them for long term storage.

I don't. I don't I even know what is that! Probably a department store or drugstore? Anyway I am in Brasil and they don't have stores here. Also I am at a countryside small town with VERY limited options about everything. All my purchases are online.

;)
Thanks,

Yan.

These bottles: They seal repeatedly. I have 20 year old paint in PETE bottles that is still good. They do not lose the inner cardboard liner, there isn't one to lose The eye dropper tip makes for easy mixing and little wasted paint.
