Sort of roll call: Who's thinking of going?

Post by el gato » Tue Jan 13, 2015 8:38 pm

I'm planning on going. This time I'm more sure than last year when I had to cancel.

I'm pretty sure I'm going, but I won't set up a table. I've got too many family things going on this year to stress out about having enough kits available to sell. I think I'll just go to have fun and re-connect with folks. I might bring some of the new kits to sell in the room in the evening for folks who are interested.

I always arrive on Thursday evening and leave Monday morning.

That was my plan too: arrive Thursday and leave Monday. Plenty of time to pack ;)

(psst, if you're not setting up a table I highly recommend you bring at least both sets of 2500 shuttles and a 2500 Antares freighter)

Unless I win the lottery...
There are Times, Sir, when men of good Conscience cannot blindly follow orders. You acknowledge their sentience, but ignore their personal liberties and freedoms. Order a man to hand over his child to the state? Not while I"m captain.

For what it costs you to fly round trip, trying to attend each year would get very expensive. Better to put that money into kits and supplies. And the family too, since they come first. ;)

Can't he find a way to get there cheaper? I heard of a boy who stowed away in the wheel well of an airplane. Made it from California to Hawaii with only minor injuries related to frostbite. For Canadians, why that's summer weather :P

I'm hoping to attend and possibly setup a table.

I'm carving out time in my schedule (taking off every other Friday) this year to dedicate to the hobby, starting tomorrow!
