Andorian Interceptor

Post by Griffworks » Sat Sep 30, 2017 5:08 am

Another 1/1000 scale printed model that I purchased off of Shapeways (link below). It's based off of a design from John Eaves for Star Trek Online, tho the design was apparently never used. I had this printed in FUD (Frosted Ultra Detail, which is a brittle acrylic-type substance. The model is roughly 1.6" / 4cm long, by 1.1" / 2.8cm wide.

Not sure what the base color will be, tho I'll try to get as close as I can to what the Kumari-class appeared to be on-screen.

More as I do some work on this one.

I love it! As I said over on FB, I was gonna scratch a master of this for 1/2500 but then I found out she was out on Shapeways so the project got squashed.

looking good Griff!
