Hey ho!

Here is my next little upgrate. Just because I love to decal my kits, here are the fist modifications. The life boats are from a sheet, I got from Meatloafr. Thank You for it! And another are from the Japanese manufactor Platz. I got the Ent D & E from eBay. The plastic parts are absolutely the same as the well-known AMT/ERTL parts from the 90ies. But the decals... The DECALS!!! they were printed by Cartograf in Italy and they are the best professional printed decals in the world so far. Absolutely accurate. Perfect lines. Just wow. Well, the first four are on my ship. Enjoy. On one pic you can see the big quality difference to the Starcrafts decal sheet, which was originally in the box. Sorry Starcrafts, but this is just awful...

I've found Starcraft decals might not be the best printed sometimes, but they are always made from strong paper.

Hello!

Today was again a Decal-Day. For The lover site I prepared dope pads from 0.5 mm thick styrene strip and attached them with some drops of super glue to the ship. Maybe a bit too high/thick, but who cares? I'm glad to fix this error on the kit.

So most of the life boat strips can be simply replaced from an Ent-E decal sheet. But two strips are too long on the Steamrunner class. So what is the solution for this problem? Simply you can use two decal and attach them together...

Next jobs are again some little paint preparations. Concluded by the final dealing of the main section.

To be continued...
Michael

Hello,

I love all that tiny details like the horseshoes and lower site markers for the impulse engines like on the Enterprise E.

Greeting,
Michael

those phaser end markers are no fun in 1/2500 scale.
You are doing a bang up job though, keep going
