Sacred scale version?

He seems pretty willing to try to rescale things based on his interactions with people on facebook,or email him at rickywallace.1701@gmail.com

This work for you? It's definitely to scale if using the 366 number.

First impressions: it's wavy as all 3D models are but the worst spots sand down pretty easily. The major panels and details are all there but many of the little greeblies from the ventral side are missing, if you're a stickler for accuracy and a scratch builder you could probably add those bits and bobs. Definitely a lot of big seams that need putty but that seems standard for any large 3D kit. The bottom is also flat and not concave like the studio model but I'm guessing that would have been hard to reproduce.

So far anyway I think anyone used to highly detailed resin casts may be disappointed but for my purposes she looks like she'll be just fine. The front and top seem pretty accurate with the exception of windows, which are easy enough to paint on in lieu of engraved indents.

We do not always get exactly what we want.

It looks to be coming together nicely.

Now there's a ship you don't often see. Looking forward to seeing her completed.

I debated whether to do orange or yellow for the engines. Some screenshots have orange and some have yellow, star trek online went yellow. I honestly would have preferred the orange if the parts were clear but as they're opaque I decided the yellow would pop more against the base coat

It looks like only the top portion of the nacelles has grille detail. I was wondering if you could thin some orange into a wash to create some depth, maybe even top it off with some drybrushed white so it really pops. Just my ¢.02

Yeah sadly you are correct the bottom doesn't have a grille and I'm not much of a scratch builder to try and make one so I just painted as is. The orange wash is a good idea though. This ship's gonna need a good deal of weathering and washing to break up the endless sea of brown too.
