Ok. Recently I removed the decals I put on. Touched up a few places where i scratched off the pearl white, only with plain white mind.
I put on the underside saucer decal and it hasn't sat sweeter.
I have now put on the 2 rear topside decals and again I have not seen them sit any flatter.
All I have done different is put 3 or 4 coats of glosscoat. on the new decal sheet. I reprinted the scan (without any discolouration) and adjusted the brightness and colouration. Otherwise they would be flat like the last ones that were just a scan and print with 2 glosscoats.
She is starting to come together again. Lets hope i can get it all together this time. Third time lucky I hope.

Ok, I took the plunge and put the dorsal saucer decal on. It fell into place with very little adjustment so hopefully there will be no cracking of the print like the underside. I also put the impulse crystal on as well as the two window sectiins behind the pylons and the shuttlebay doors.
Here is the difference in the original decals to my printed version.

Rollbar is in storage as it was the only part that took the original decals. I haven't tried it on yet as worried about the colours mis-matching.

And getting those stern hull decals on with it in place would be a bear.

Bridge and pylons tonight with a quick application of lower dome surround. And just for Trekriffic here are pics with rollbar.
While not noticeable in pics, you can see a difference in the rollbar and the other decals.

I do believe I have done it. Its taken a couple of days to get the decals on and tonight saw the last of the nacelle ones. A couple of bits of detail painting on the torpedo launchers and the impulse engines.
I am going to give it a day or two to sit to see if the decals peel and then will give it a glosscoat and dullcoat.
Just noticed I caught a decal on a nacelle.

I've done it. And yes, it is a bear.
Great job on your Reliant mophius.
