New kids on the block.
No names as yet. One Valiant class and one Vigilant class. I can't remember which one is which either

Left one is in Tamiya Light Ghost Grey rattlecan
Right is in Ford Polar Grey, Halfords rattlecan
I want that Vigilant class! A VERY nice twist on the Defiant class.
That Valiant....well, I much prefer the Ravenstar offering- I think I have three. It's more... graceful looking.

Where did the Vigilant come from? And how much?

Refit got some more decals tonight. Neck, bridge and impulse. Oh and more around the deflector housing.

Here is the basic Surya. I noticed that it has some fluff on after putting the dullcote on. Space dust now.

Refit had some secondary hull decals last night. I just need to do the strongback and pylons now which will be fiddly.

Refit got some more decals but only three. Impulse Linear accelerator (I presume its the same part in the same place), and the strongback pair.
Strongback doesn't look good as there is a gap between the two and there is also a gap of the azteking just above the shuttlebay doors. I couldn't go anywhere else with the decals as they are all butted up just nicely from the bottom one up. I will compare with one of the larger scale refits to see how i did.
Plus side is that no other decal has broken on me since the top saucer at the start. Uploading the pictures and remembered I did the vetral on the shuttlebay too.

It's not just you, mo. I couldn't quite close those gaps near the pylons either

AMT fit and finish are infamous. The refit is not the worst of the bunch. Sigh...it is why we consider this a challenge.

Refit is going to be the next one finished. It really is flying along now.
Command deck surround and both sides of the pylons are now covered. All that's left is to do is the sensor bands and windows on the saucer and the nacelle covers.

Looking good Mo! I too found the pylon decals to be challenging as well.
