WooT! Post 3000!

I have the Burd up from the basement. I am happy with the base coat as it is now that I have it under better light. A couple of shots.

Who's the pretty burd?

Starting the detail work with a bit of silver. (Which obviously needs touching up). All the silver will be under transparent paint BTW. Glowy green bits right here.

This shot was tough. Four tries and this was the best of the lot. The camera wanted to focus on anything but the end of the wing. I love digital cameras.

It's been a busy week. I finally got some of my favorite paint, gunmetal blue, and started some of the accent painting. No touch up as of yet. I can see plenty will be need.

I'm not sure that is all the gunmetal that will be seen, but it will be sparing. But I'm done for the night.
