Only because if I think I might bump it with my fingers or fist while painting or placing decals, then likely others may do the same. Not so much because the spire would break, but that the whole thing might come crashing down. I never like to put small or spindly things that may escape eyesight on a model until it's almost finished. Plus easier to paint when it's off due to that tight angle where it connects.

They are great friends and close family members. I had Squeekers and Chester for 14 years and lost them both in the same month due to old age issues about two years ago. I now have Mars - codename FluffyBitey and Venus - codename SilkyNinja.

Let me know how the mini caulking gun works out, it sounds like a genius idea (and not self proclaimed Trump level genius either)

Cheers!

I'm hugging my Hobbes for you.

The best way to honor her memory is to save a stray or a rescue cat/kitten.
If this were Trek, you could name her Missy-A.

It's what I did last night to my current lot, except for Pierce. He's not a hugger. He did cuddle with the back of my neck as he laid on top of the couch, though.

All of our pets are and have been rescues. The current 4 are what we call "Generation 2," since it's the second set of cats we've had since we've been married. They're composed of Natalie ("Pretty Girl"), James ("Koala Kitty"), Pierce ("Pierce Poopy Pants" or simply "Poops") & Annie ("Urchin" or "Screechy"), in the order in which they were adopted.

Generation 1 was composed of Tailsey (she had many nicknames), Gita Girl and S. Bernard Pumpkin ("Boy" or "Old Man"). Prior to them were Kimba, Kimba II, Mishita, Supercat, Pirata, Garfielle, Nermal and Kimba III. I had them all growing up

We need a thread for cats!

Also, I too want to know how the plastic stuff works- that could be a real boon if it's good stuff!

Well it worked. P3 will flow through a 2mm needle, abet with a bit of pushing.

Here are the first pass results with a wet finger run over the bead. The picture taken well after it dried.

P3 is awesome! Easy to apply, non toxic and no foul smells. Love it!

I am ready for paint. However, paint is not ready for me. Way to humid and cold to spray.

However I did order some Taymia X-35 clear green for the glowy bits.
