Alternate Paradigms Shapeways Shop
Since the announcement of the various parts I have available through the Shapeways shop are spread over multiple threads, I figured I should take my cue from Crazy Eddie and create a single thread to highlight what is there.
Constitution Mark III Star Trek
As you know, Brian Pimenta created what Del & I are calling the "Constitution Mk III" ship. Brian designed his Enterprise soon after seeing ST III and speculated what the next version of the iconic ship would look like. I created one other variant using Brian's design elements. You can always pick up the 3 currently available kits through Multiverse Models. Thanks to a couple of suggestions from mophius, I have expanded the number of parts that can be used with your Connie Mk III universe of ships. Add to your fleet with these:
Dreadnought-style battleship
Shorter neck
Over nacelle, to be used with an MVM MK IIIverse kit or with a 2500 Cadet Refit, on its own or in conjunction with the Mk IIIverse-style Alternate Engines #2
Under nacelle, to be used with an MVM Mk IIIverse kit or with a 2500 Cadet Refit, on its own or in conjunction with the Mk IIIverse-style Alternate Engines #2
Coming soon: Sensor pods for a second type of science cruiser...
Alternate Engines
These were created to add a little variation to your 2500 Cadet ships. These should plug right into your AMT kits
Alternate Engines 1 - 2500 Scale - The sides of these nacelles are parallel to each other
Alternate Engines 2 - 2500 Scale - The sides of these nacelles have a slight taper towards the back and are similar to those of the MVM kits
Alternate Engines 3 - 2500 Scale- These nacelles have a slight bulge in the middle when viewed from the front
Alternate Engines 4 - 2500 Scale - These are offered with the approval of Bill Krause
Coming soon: Alternate engines for your Romulan and Klingon ships...
Let history never forget the name... Enterprise
CVN 65 in 2500... because. The CVN 65 is also offered in other scales, including 1800, 2400 and 3000. Check out my SW shop for those.
Timey Wimey
The 9th and 10th Doctors' TARDIS is offered in various scales (72, 48 35 and 32). Check out the shop for those.
Coming soon: The First Doctor's TARDIS as well as the 11th and 12th Doctors' TARDIS

Re: Alternate Paradigms Shapeways Shop
Parts shipped today so I should see them on Monday. When I have the parts to hand I will decide which ships I want to purchase off Del and place the order.

Here they are.
First up is Dreadnought conversion. Impulse engine is at the end of the nacelle Saladin Conversion Connie3 lowered neck And finally the Sentinel type nacelles
I really should put some colour on them so you can see all the details.

Re: Alternate Paradigms Shapeways Shop
I didn't see on your first post that you are doing a new type of sensor pod. I have got a Northtrek one here I am looking at working into a version somehow or I have the two from the Kaydee kit.
So far I have

Some quick-fit pics.
Saladin Akula J Edgar Nelson Dreadnought Hutzel and a new one tonight - Saipan class I don't have a Kaydee neck and secondary hull to hand and think at least the Hutzel would look better with the shorter closer secondary.

Re: Alternate Paradigms Shapeways Shop
I now have planned two Akula classes in these great kits. I am also going to try my hand at making some aztek decals for them. I say two because I could not make my mind up to which way the engines should be.
I will post more when I have more.
They both have the impulse engine extra parts found at the Shapeway's shop. I have also decided to file down the saucer ridges that go from the command decks to the outer part of the saucer and also the two ridges on the edge of the saucer. Just to make it easier to make the decals really. I will post more when I have more.

I'm not sold on some of the details, but overall I like these. I just need to behave myself and not tinker with someone else's design. Keep up the good work.

Re: Alternate Paradigms Shapeways Shop
Last night I did some updates to the shop. All of these are to give a different look to your Klingon D-7, because why would you want your fleet to look the same way? All of these will plug right into the pylons of the AMT 2500 D-7, though you'll need to shave down the height of the tab. There is a link on the product description that you can use to check out the detail.
Klingon-y looking nacelles
Turtleshell Antagonists Nacelle 1
Turtleshell Antagonists Nacelle 2
Turtleshell Antagonists Nacelle 4
Romulan-y looking nacelles
This one I made for the RBoP, but adapted it for the D-7. The thought is that some may want it for their Romulan fleet, post the Klingon-Romulan Alliance of the late 2260s. Turtleshell Antagonists Nacelle 3
Romulan versions of these nacelles that you can use on your AMT 2500 RBoP are coming soon!
There are also Stormbird-style nacelles, again in case you want it for your Romulan fleet. There were based on an original design by Rob Willson and offered with his blessing. Parts to fully convert your D-7 into the Stormbird (impulse housing, nacelles, neck and front module) are coming soon

Ooooh, Daddy likes! Think you might be able to do me a favor and Biggy Size those for purchase in 1/1000 scale?
