AMT 1/2500 TOS Klingon D7 w/ lights (WIP)
While waiting for paint to dry on the Romulan BOP, I figured I'd see what I could manage as far as attempting to light the D7... Simple 3 series LED setup with an external resistor. Had to do some minor carving to get wires and fiber optics to fit correctly as well as some thinning of plastic to aid in light transmission... She should be all glued up and ready for paint tomorrow.

I have to wear progressive bi-focals now that I'm "old". You're killing me with these builds! You're doing exactly what I always wanted to do, but messed up my first attempt and never tried it again.

I have to take my glasses off for the really close-up work.

My eyes ache, from the empathic squinting necessary to appreciate the fine building you've done.

Wow. Besides the hands of a watchmaker you must have the patience of a saint. I don't think I could have drilled all of those windows on the top part of the D7 bulb

Masked and primered... I'll need to go back to fill and smooth the parts seam on the top of the wings.

Painted... (still needs decals and trimed fibers)
Just some touch ups and decals to finish her up.
