Federation Models Still Active?

Post by SKO »

If one were to want to get a Starcraft kit is Fedration Models still the place to be? The site says it hasn't updated since January 2016 and I hear whispers maybe it isn't as active as it used to be. The wife usually tries to get me some kind of kit for father's day and my birthday each year (God bless her) and now that I've got basically every 1/1400 styrene kit completed I've thought about pointing her in the resin direction but not sure if they're active/if she'd get it on time, etc.

As far as I know Tracy has some website update issues, but is still in business. He should be at WonderFest this next weekend, so I'll ask him about things. Always great service, so don't be afraid to place an order. ;)

Edit: Ahem. Maybe I should look at post dates, before needlessly bumping a thread, yeah ... ?

As far as I know, Federation Models seems to be alive and kicking. I ordered some Miranda-class parts earlier in the summer, June or so, and it took no time for the order to get shipped out to Germany.
DANGER. SPACE DOORS ARE CLOSED.

Don't worry about it. It happens to all of us at one point or another

Yes, Tracy's still there and doing alright. I've been swapping emails with him for the last couple days.
