Hello!
Not only for Yan here is the presentation of my Nova Class ship. It's again a well known one piece resin kit. I get it aprox 2002 in Germany for 60 € and it was my first Resin model. The german seller, a big SF stuff store shiped it to me without a base, so I modified the tree peaces Revell kit base with a rod to draft the Equinox on it between the Voyager and the Maquis ship (Pic not shown).
Painting: again my Revell and Humbrol colors with a brush. Night window color from Revell were brushed in all windows and now it can glow in the dark some minutes. I love this effect.
Decals: again the basic decal sheet from Starcraft (is very very poor, but 2002 I had no alternative ) were used. That's something, what I have to change next time: the decals on nacelles and all 6 transporter pads. So years later I get the JT Graphics decals and voila! upgrade! .
Design: I love it ! Similar to Voyager and Ent-E but smaller, nevermind I was so unbeliavable happy as I find out I can get this little ship in the same scale like this plastic kits too!!! Amazing, I got it!!! . It was not difficult for an resin kit with painting and handling. I'm so glad, I'm so glad, I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad (Deep Purple ).
Generally I'm in love with the Eqouinox episodes of Voyager too. It shows a tiny little starship and a resign starfleet crew after hard years so far away from home. It's terrible, but I can understand Captain Ransom and his crew.
Now enough philosophy, here are the pics!
Michael

These are some very nice builds, Doc! The decals alone would have crossed and strained my eyes!
The detail, despite your comments about the bad decals, look very well done!
I like the Equinox for it's overall shape and appearance. I would not have minded if Voyager would have looked like the Equinox or the Rhode Island!
You've done an excellent job on your builds!
Thanks for sharing!
Steve

Hello!
Update.
Somethimes it's good to back to basic. In my case ther were this pics above. I was looking at this pics just a few days and I decided to change all genuine decals on my Equinox with some Revell/JT_G/PNT decals.
Today: step one: changing of lover transporter pads. Genuine kit pads are absolutey horrible, so I used for this job Voyager 1400 scale pads. 4 pieces at first.
Also I have some pics 4U with the Voyager: so beautiful look
...to be continued...

Seeing them both together I suddenly remembered about the excellent "Equinox" episode.
Thanks,

Hi!
I changed all genuine decals on my Equinox to JT-Graphics, AMT (shuttle bay decal from a small 1701-E) and Revell (onlly the transporter pads from Voyager) decals. Looks so amazing now!
Greeting,
Michael
