I have done my best to do a little tidying up. Have at it and enjoy! :)

N.B. I don't deal with much beyond a quick scan at the site and posts. I will (try) and do something if it's put in front of me (i.e. a PM), but life is just a foggy fubar situation.

That is why Scotchyn has access and authority to run AST and serve our community (and get a hold of me if there is a major problem of some kind).

I'm only now catching things (new bugs reports, forum requests etc) that I miss these days. Does no one contact him about these things? I'm not being snarky here. I'm just trying to work out what's going on.

I would like to do a build up of a 1:1000 USS Constellation battle damage.

However, before this contest was announced, I had assembled a 1:1000 Connie (snapped together), but have only done some minor painting, but have not done any battle damage, nor any decals, etc. Would I be allowed to use this?

I'll make it so!

Besides the painted parts will probably be modded, repainted, or maybe not even used at all.

So I was about to break down one of my Connies I had assembled, but couldn't do it.

So, I purchased a new primary and secondary hull, un-assembled. Along with spare parts and spare nacelles, I have enough to assemble a new ship, then destroy it a little.

The Federation does saucer separations, the Klingons do boom separations. I'm going up to 1/1000 for this, using the early orange lid model with its off-angle connection, because I'll cut off the [mis]locating tabs and sand the back flat, then paint on airlocks for the turbolift shaft and corridor, and the "Kefferies" tube where they check that the disconnects for power, comms, ventilation, water, hydraulics, and what all disconnected. I'll build impulse engines extending maybe 1/4 inch (scales to 20 feet or 6 m) aft from those arches on the side of the neck, and cut bays to hold them in the secondary hull. Hopefully these won't hold the boom at a worse angle, but I won't do a bunch of connecting and separating. I may do the secondary hull plain, saying it is about to explode, or I may do some visible damage; the first three weeks of July will see.

I think I'm going to build the USS Excalibur (Using the NCC-1664 registry) after it was destroyed by the Enterprise in the Ultimate Computer so I'm going to look at potentially how 2 Phaser bursts could kill everyone on board and potentially how much damage was done, I might even try to light it

My entry:
Warp core breach.. USS Albacore, Tuna class repair ship/deep space com buoy tender.
Sorry about the lack of details. This was my first anti-matter explosion and it was just about 13 milliseconds faster than the camera shutter.
