I won't stand for such outlandish and bombastic claims!

I've done all 4, many times over. While I used to be predominately a crazy scratch builder, those days are largely over and I focus on modding and upgrading existing kits. Which is not to say that I don't still have SOME scratch projects on the board. But for the most part.....yeah. Adding lights, photoetch, modding parts and using aftermarket additions or custom decals is my usual thing.

I would say I am an OOB person but I have used some aftermarket decals so that does class as Daring.

I would say I'm a Dare Modder, just because I too OCD to be able to live with myself building something OOB, knowing there is Stuff Wrong™ with the kit.

If committing to one choice then it would be out of box. However I do try wherever possible to add something extra to model even if its minor.

Very rare however I will attempt major surgery on a kit and my scratch building efforts have been universally disappointing.

While I selected "Abusive Kitbasher", I tend more towards "Dare Modeler" for prolly 60% of my builds. I guess maybe 10% Conservative Builder for the few on-screen builds I do, with 30% "Abusive Kitbasher" for my creative muse moments.

Never happy unless I'm covered in a fine layer of polystyrene dust, and the pungent scent of cyanoacrylate is in my nostrils . :tease:

Abusive (and how ! ) Kitbasher .
