Plans that I've found (any type of plans) actually lend to my making other ship classes, or unique designs.
Take for instance... Bic lighters make Kool looking containers, for say Ent-B, -C or -D eras.
I just use the J5, J3 and J6 models, because there is less work to do on the container bodies. And ya gets lots of great greebles in them! After you take them apart that is.

(I don't smoke any longer but kept a lot of empty Bic lighters from my days of smoking. And also, the wife uses the lighters for stove and her artwork when she needs a light/flame.
) And a cannibalized carcasse from a Kinston Pendrive make a nice Sidney type ship (just by combining TMP bridge, Nacelles and pylons), or a "Flat bottom" container. (lots of different model Drives out there.

I took mine apart, used the Pendrive innards in a Steampunk designed body.
The original carcasse will be molded for resin copies. lol
