And the winner is...
1st Place - Moongrim "1/1000 Destroyat Class"
2nd Place - Resin-Modeller "1/1400 Dante Class Federation Science Ship"
3rd Place - Malleman "1/2500 Klingon M-4 Strike Cruiser"
Congratulations to Moongrim, Resin-Modeller and Malleman! You will be contacted by MVM shortly. I won't reveal the vote count or ranking because it may offend folks. What I will say is this was pretty much a three horse race from the start.
That said, I'd like to say a hearty thank you to each participant. I can't speak for the rest, but I have really enjoyed checking out your builds. I've also been really impressed by the sportsmanship and camaraderie shown.
I hope those that fell short of the mark (be it by votes or the deadline) will not be put off in trying again.

Congrats to the winners!
And, as to good sportsmanship, I have to publicly point out that Malleman of Astro Miniatures sent me the figures, free, just because he thought I could use them. I only used a fraction, and it's still enough that I had to tell myself some were visiting from the next campsite over.

There are Times, Sir, when men of good Conscience cannot blindly follow orders. You acknowledge their sentience, but ignore their personal liberties and freedoms. Order a man to hand over his child to the state? Not while I"m captain.

Congratulations to Moongrim, Resin-Modeller, and Malleman, as well as everyone else who participated, even if you weren't able to complete your builds on time. I saw a lot of inspiring ideas, and hope to see more in the future.
I'll send a PM to each awardee to discuss the prizes.
